This technology has no Slice Machine integration

This framework has no integration with Prismic's developer tool, Slice Machine. You can still build a Prismic website with this technology by using Prismic's Legacy Builder. However, if you're starting a new project with Prismic, we strongly recommend using a technology that integrates with Slice Machine: Next.js or Nuxt.

If you've read through all of the pages in this guide, congratulations! You have mastered the basics of Prismic and Vue. What should you do next?

Forum

We have an active community on the Prismic forum, and our support staff respond to every question. If you want to share your work, troubleshoot issues, or ask questions, it's a great place to visit.

We'd also love it if you would post your own creation in the forum. We always love to see what our community members create with Prismic.

Nuxt and Slice Machine

If you want to develop a more complex app, you might want to consider a Vue framework. We recommend Nuxt.js.

Nuxt is a framework built on Vue. It adds features like routing, server-side generation, and static site generation.

We have a full guide to developing a Nuxt app with Prismic. Furthermore, we have a powerful set of development tools called Slice Machine, which is available for Nuxt. Slice Machine empowers you to develop Prismic slice components in your codebase, so you can create components without leaving your dev environment.

Development kits

You might have noticed that this guide relies on a few development kits, plus our core Rest API. When you're getting started, you don't need to understand the specifics of these tools, so we don't explain them in much detail. If you want to learn more, you can take a look at the technical references for each tool. However, please note: this is advanced documentation.
